The purpose of this website is to provide the public with resources on the martyrdom of Sts. Perpetua and Felicity, who were put to death with their companions in the Roman arena in early third-century Carthage because of their refusal to renounce their Christian confession.

The growing body of research on their Passio motivated me to create this website.  My hope is that it will facilitate further research on their passion narrative.

This website is a work in progress.  If you find any errors or have suggestions for material that should appear here, please contact me at milco@uwm.edu.  Thank you!

According to the Passio, Perpetua and Felicity were attacked by a heifer.
